Guidelines for Class
Please download our guidelines to
help make your training experience a positive one!
Make-Up Classes:
Classes must be made up
within 3-months of your session start-date.
Example: Start Date is
1/12, make-up opportunity ends 4/12. Basic-I can make up classes on
either Wednesday or Saturday Basic-I. Basic-II Moderate can make-up
on Tuesday evening or Saturday AM, etc.
All classes integrate socialization, breathing (what’s the
alternative), awareness, centering, exploring energy levels, massage for
desensitization (Doga Flow) for warm-ups. Engaging with our dogs, in the
present moment and learning together happens pleasantly sooner with an
open-mind.
Private Counseling, Private Group / Individual Coaching or
Pet-Assisted Therapy Training are by appointment only. Pre-registration
is required for all classes.
Deposits are non-refundable.
Dates may change due to weather conditions, holidays or
workshops. For a full calendar of events, program descriptions, fees,

GUIDELINES
FOR SAFETY & PEACE OF MIND
ALL TEAMS, please be considerate & enter the sanctuary
(double doors) with dogs on leash (no flexi-leads). Explore, be
pro-active and aware of your surroundings. Take a deep breath, and be
your pup/dog’s advocate. Most dogs & humans have a spatial bubble.
RESPECT IT until you get to know each other. Adopted dogs must be
assessed before joining a group class.
Pups as young as 3-months are accepted into Basic-I
training, with approval from their Primary Veterinarian. All dogs must be
healthy and have wellness checks, especially in an environment where there
will be multiple dogs & families.
Socialization precedes classes, then flows into warm-ups,
centering and training. Puppies have 15-20 minutes to engage with other
pups/dogs in a safe, supervised environment. These essential
interactions teach communication skills (calming signals). Calm, but
assertive observation can be an enjoyable learning experience for humans
and dogs.
Be mindful that dogs are dogs! There is
no guarantee
of a positive dog-meet-dog iinteraction
They need to be introduced in a broad range of surroundings
while being guided by their pack leader (you). Our "energy flow" makes a
difference. Signals and cues from other dogs changes the dynamics and
response too.
